Just Play Along

Justin had a couple of friends come and hang out after school. "Keep an eye out for my mom, will you?", Justin asked, as he took a swig from the bar. Atlas stood guard, as he awaited his turn.

Ginger decided to help with dinner, "I'm not taking part in any of this.".




Cindy dished up the food, and subtly suggested that she would like to see more of Ginger, "She's so considerate, helping me out. I really like her. She's welcome here any time.".

"Yeah, she's a pretty cool chick.", Justin looked down, attempting to avoid this awkward conversation.



"Your mom doesn't know, does she? That you're, you know... gay.", Ginger was astonished. She thought it was common knowledge, but only those among their closest friends knew.

"Sometimes it's easier to just play along."
