Everyone got dressed in their best attire and impatiently awaited the headmaster's arrival. The boys started to roughhouse.

Seamus loved tormenting his brother, "What if I gave you a black eye? Then you'd look awfully cute for the headmaster. I bet he wouldn't even let you in.".

"Go ahead! I'll just tell him who did it, then he won't let you in.", Atlas gleefully responded.



Hadron gave a brief tour of the condo, while Alice put the final touches on a nice turkey dinner.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to come in here. Please, excuse the mess and have a seat. Dinner will be out in a jiff.", Alice blushed.




Hadron and Alice ate in silence, desperately trying to hear what was going on in the dinning room. What were they talking about? Were the kids behaving?



"I'm working part time as a junior EMT, and hoping to go into the medical field later.", Seamus bragged.

"What about you?", the headmaster turned to Atlas, "And do you have a job too?".



"Well, I'm quite active in the school's drama club.", Atlas had to think fast, " Sometimes my buddy and I go to the park and busk for tips.".

Always eager to insult his brother, Seamus burst out laughing, "He means a real job, Atlas!".

The headmaster was impressed though. "An entrepreneur, I like that kind of enthusiasm.".



Everything went swimmingly, and the Higgs were accepted into the private school with a 110 rating.

Hadron rubbed his wife's shoulders, "You can relax now Alice, we made it.".

The hours passed liked minutes, and morning came far too soon.

Atlas squinted, "Holy crap, it's daylight! My parents are going to kill me if they find out I've been out all night.".

"Wait, I have that valentine that I wanted to give you.", Justin pleaded.




Atlas flipped the card over and over in his hands, grinning to himself.

"You're a Rockstar! Is that what Justin thinks of me, a rockstar?"

Atlas slipped out the garage, and met Justin at the park. There was a boombox playing and people from all over the neighborhood were dancing. It was like a secret society.



"Not bad. You're not quite moving your hips right though."




Justin leaned in closer, "This is how they move.".

Justin had a few friends over after school, in an attempt to get to know them a little better.



Justin, “Hey, Dad, I want you to meet my... friend. ”.
Rob shook Atlas’ hand, “Oh, you’re Ron and Alice's son.”

Justin thought to himself for a minute, “This might get awkward.”.



Upstairs Seamus and Candice get to know each other even better.

Justin walks in, and pretends not to notice.
