Eating burnt salmon.

The final household to host the Headmaster is the children's home - Belladonna Hall. Right off the bat, it was off to a bad start with Carrie burning the salmon. Something Headmaster Shane didn't take too kindly to, "I'd think you would know how to cook better than this, raising all these kids." Carrie was crushed.

Elizabeth came to Carrie's defense, "It's not burnt, it's... it's pan seared.". Even Simon played along, "This is some real gourmet shit.".

Clearing the dishes off the table.

If there's one thing Simon could do well, besides fighting, was schmooze. It was most likely a bunch of BS, because he often missed school and work, but he was smooth, and Headmaster Shane ate it right up.

"Simon is one of our special kids.", Carrie announced, regaining her composure while clearing the table, "I suspect he'll be an attorney someday.".

Talking about life.

Carrie put on a pot of coffee, and continued to talk about the home.

"They really are good kids. They do their work, and all hold down after school jobs. Sometimes it gets a little crazy here, but that's naturally to be expected with eight teenagers living under one roof.".

Dancing with a big grin.

A smustle flashmob broke out in the kitchen. I see Simon is on his best behavior; he must really want to get into that private school. Although I'm not sure if I trust his Cheshire grin.

"I'm so going to kick your ass after he leaves."

A fight breaks out.

Spoke too soon. Another day, another fight. *sigh*

Being rejected.

Carrie hurried Headmaster Shane into the study, to show him some of the curriculum on the the computer.

"This is a wonderful facility, and you've really got your work cut out for you, but... between burnt food, all the fighting, and kicking over trashcans, I just don't think they're ready for our school.". Headmaster Shane could see the defeat across her face, and added, "Maybe next year.".

Ouch! Sadly, Belladonna Hall only scored 87 points. Not even the fresh brewed coffee was able save them.

Getting angry.

"What were you thinking? The headmaster is going to see there's no adults living here, and call the social worker.", Gavin was livid, "Only families with certain credentials get in - celebrities, scientists, journalists, cops..".

"We're going to get in based on merit.", Ginger professed, "Plus, there's better scholarships there, and we need to think about our future.". Ginger knew money would be the motivator here.

Waving goodbye.

The following morning Ginger saw her brother on her way out for school, "Do you think you can get dinner started before I get home?".

"I'll make my famous spaghetti.", Gavin offered enthusiastically.

"And remember...", Ginger ran him through the routine once more, "Our parents were suddenly called away on business.".

Getting ingredients ready.

Ginger greeted the Headmaster at the door, briefly explained why their parents were absent, then excused herself to the kitchen.

"WTF Gavin! You were supposed to get dinner started before I got home.", Ginger was furious.

Gavin shrugged, "I dropped the plate".

Showing the children's room.

Ginger decided to show the Headmaster around, while Gavin whipped up a fresh pot of spaghetti, "This is the children's room".

The Headmaster's eyes lit up, "It's so... so... colorful.".

Ginger didn't skip a beat, "It's good for the eyes, and helps stimulate creativity in young minds.".

Showing the teen room.

"Gavin and I share this room.", Ginger suddenly realized they were short on rooms.

"But, where do your parents sleep?", his eyes narrowed, "Are there more rooms?".

"Oh, right.", Ginger didn't quite think this part through, "Well, the couch in the living room folds out into a bed, and they sleep there.".

A plate of spaghetti.

"Dinner's ready!"

At the dinner table.

The Headmaster devoured his plate, and started for the door, "It's a shame that I couldn't meet your parents, but it was lovely meeting you all. Spring quarter begins in March.".

"Wait!", Ginger was stunned, "Does that mean we made it in?".

The Headmaster smirked, "We'll see you in March.".

The Newsons scored 100 out of 90. I wasn't sure how this would go after the spaghetti incident, but the headmaster kept wanting to see more rooms - which was my saving grace.

Mother and daughter having a discussion.

Laci Hart had recently quit her job as a dance instructor to be a stay at home mom, so she had some reservations about the headmaster paying them a visit. "Be sure to dress up nice tonight, so we can make a good impression.", Laci suggested.

"Oh, yay.", Katrina said dryly, " I'll put on something nice, but I'm not wearing a dress.".

Nervous, hands shaking.

The doorbell rang, and Laci was a bucket of nerves, "OMG! He's here! I'm so nervous, my hands are literally shaking.".

"You'll be fine.", Chase assured her.

Bragging about work.

Chase eased him in with a brief tour of the place, and a little boasting about his job on the force.

"I commend you for keeping the peace around here. It must be very dangerous out there on the streets.", the headmaster remarked.

Self assured, Chase was quick to answer, "It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.".

Eating pork chops.

Katrina and Laci were famished, and couldn't wait to dig in. Laci made pork chops, using a trusted family recipe that had been handed down through generations. "It's not Lobster Thermidor," Laci joked, "But it is good, down home cooking.".

"Thank God, it's not another turkey dinner."

Picking up a toddler.

"Uh, oh.", Laci picked up Hunter, "Does someone have messy pants?".

Ruining out the door.

The headmaster took that as his cue to exit, "It's been splendid meeting all of you, truly, but I really need to run."

The Harts barely squeaked by with only 90 points, but they made it.

Doing makeup.

The Hartmans were entertaining the headmaster tonight. Kate was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, trying make everything perfect.

"Candice, why are you still in your pajamas? The headmaster will be here in an hour.", Kate was losing patience fast.

Candice reassured her, "Chill, mom. I just finished my makeup, all I have to do is put up my hair, and throw on a dress.".

Arriving fashionably late.

Lance worked late at the diner, and waltzed in fashionably late. Candice razzed her brother, "How nice of you to make it, Lance.".

"Hard worker! What exactly do you do?.", the headmaster inquired.

"I'm a bonafide flatware technician.", Lance mused.

Dinner discussion.

"I clean the dolphin tanks at the aquarium, but someday I'd like to become an Oceanographer. Maybe even the hand of Poseidon... the seas are rising, and we need to take action.".

Her mother interrupted, "No politics at the table, Candice.".

Hiding in the bathroom.

Ken heard a rustling in the bathroom. "Lance, what the hell are you doing back there?", Ken was not the least bit amused, "What if the headmaster walked in instead of me.".

"It's not Lance, it's Poseidon. I've come to clean the seas, starting with this bathtub.", Lance could hardly contain his laughter.

Going online.

The headmaster wasn't very clear when he left, so Ken looked up their scores online, "Let's see.... it says we scored 100!".

"What does that mean?", Kate asked nervously, " Is it good?".

Ken reassured her, "It's very good.".

Chatting over dinner.

The Klines were next up for a visit with the headmaster. Their evening began with the usual chit chat over dinner.

"You're a real ladies man, aren't you, Justin?"

Justin shot his dad an icy glare, "Oh, yes...".

Having an awkward conversation.

"I'm really popular with the ladies, alright.", Justin continued, seething with sarcasm.

Rob chuckled nervously, "Haha, takes after his ol' pops, I guess.".

Bribing the headmaster.

While giving a tour of the house, Cindy took took the headmaster aside in the kitchen, and spoke in a hushed voice.

"We're a family of very high influence, being celebrities, so it's really important that he gets in. We've already donated a hefty contribution to your school, and we'll do whatever else it takes to see that it happens.".

Cluttered room, embarrassed.

"Good lord, Justin. I told you to clean up your crap."

"I see he has very eclectic taste.", the Headmaster commented.

The night was a success.

The Klines scored the highest so far with a whopping 120 points!

"Justin, you come back down here! I want to have a word with you.", Cindy hollered after the headmaster had left.

"I'd like to have a few words with you as well.", Rob chimed in.

Justin piped back, "Sorry, gotta go to bed. School tomorrow.".

Two brothers roughhousing.

Everyone got dressed in their best attire and impatiently awaited the headmaster's arrival. The boys started to roughhouse.

Seamus loved tormenting his brother, "What if I gave you a black eye? Then you'd look awfully cute for the headmaster. I bet he wouldn't even let you in.".

"Go ahead! I'll just tell him who did it, then he won't let you in.", Atlas gleefully responded.

Touring the kitchen.

Hadron gave a brief tour of the condo, while Alice put the final touches on a nice turkey dinner.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to come in here. Please, excuse the mess and have a seat. Dinner will be out in a jiff.", Alice blushed.

Nervously eating dinner.

Hadron and Alice ate in silence, desperately trying to hear what was going on in the dinning room. What were they talking about? Were the kids behaving?

Schmoozing about work.

"I'm working part time as a junior EMT, and hoping to go into the medical field later.", Seamus bragged.

"What about you?", the headmaster turned to Atlas, "And do you have a job too?".

Dinner Conversation

"Well, I'm quite active in the school's drama club.", Atlas had to think fast, " Sometimes my buddy and I go to the park and busk for tips.".

Always eager to insult his brother, Seamus burst out laughing, "He means a real job, Atlas!".

The headmaster was impressed though. "An entrepreneur, I like that kind of enthusiasm.".

Getting a back rub.

Everything went swimmingly, and the Higgs were accepted into the private school with a 110 rating.

Hadron rubbed his wife's shoulders, "You can relax now Alice, we made it.".

Various Sim families.

The first week I focused on introductions, and last week I featured relationships.

This week, the private school is opening it's registration, and the headmaster will visit each household as they strive to get accepted. Will they all make it? How well will they score?
