Within about a week's worth of playing, Veda had reached her
lifetime wish, fell in love, and... I had my first Sims 3 wedding!
I bring you, Mr. & Mrs. Clifton Painter
Veda attempted to talk to longtime friend Bessie Clavell after the wedding;
but, this happened before she could even get a single word in.
This was one of the saddest scenes I had ever witnessed while playing,
also my first Sims 3 death. Just look at everyone's expression here.
An uninvited guest... someone you never want to see at your wedding.
Veda said farewell in her own way.
(now it's starting to look like a music video)
Buster Clavell didn't seem to want to go home, so the newlyweds spent
most of the night comforting him on the beach.
The following day, I got a popup suggesting she paid Buster a visit.
He wasn't home, so they hung out with his son Xander instead.
No sooner had Buster gotten through the door, when he died too.
Actually, he didn't even make it all the way through the door.
I don't know if my sim got cursed in the catacombs, or if this is how
the game weeds out townies, but it seems like I've been getting
bombarded with deaths all of a sudden; and they're not all elderly either.
