While importing some old sims into my game, I came across several which had "unknown" package files come up on Clean Installer, sometimes multiple times.
The file itself is the dreaded "b18484e15a91c5a039d61f635d15d7c3.package" (Sims06.package), the same one
kingmike1224 brought to my attention, back when I had the "RSL-browcombed_puregreenm.package", and the "package.package.package" glitch. I immediately removed the files, yet somehow sims that were later packaged up from BS had this one reattached. I might also add that they were all older sims from past installs, and none that I've shared with others. Whew... thank goodness.
Anyhow, what I'm wondering about, is if it's safe to install these affected sims if I uncheck the "unknown" files in Clean Installer? I've searched & searched, but haven't found much info relating to it.
